Things that bother me

I’ve been asked, so I shall rant.

  • When people talk or text during a movie you want to show them.
  • When you give someone a book that means something to you and you know they haven’t even started it.
  • When people confuse truth as ‘political incorrectness’. Sometimes to truth isn’t fun to hear but hiding behind PC is disgusting and inhibitive to me.
  • Crocs
  • Pick up truck owners who never have nor will ever ‘pick up’ anything and didn’t buy the vehicle for it’s intended purpose of work. Also, lifted trucks. Why. You obviously don’t need all that leg room…
  • Facebook game invites. Oh wait, that 23rd invite really won me over. Here I come Farm Heroes.
  • Streets that randomly change names and it confuses everyone in the car with google maps directions.
  • People who wear swimwear with shoes.
  • When the word feminism is confused with some other word that means being a man hating, makeup cursing, ‘you’re extreme or against us’ alpha woman.
  • Pizza mouth.
  • Incredibly shallow people who choose good looks over personality and intelligence. Why not get all 3 and pick me.
  • Corrupted save files.
  • Owners of jerseys, hats, etc., of multiple teams that are in the same league. Pick a team and be loyal, otherwise you’re a preemptive band-wagoner and have near-zero credibility.
  • Running out of crackers when there is more cheese to whiz.
  • The fake-ness of air conditioning.
  • Duck face-ing. Seriously why is this still a thing?
  • Minorities who were bullied that become the majority and become bullies.
  • When people think it’s cool, okay or the norm to be ignorant about history, politics or being educated in general.
  • Fandoms that force gay relationships between two straight characters. Just like it’s okay to be a gay couple, it’s okay to be straight. I know it’s crazy but two guys really can just be friends.
  • Hot dog shops that don’t have sauerkraut.
  • Affirmative action. Reverse racism is still racism folks.
  • The peculiar situation technology has put social situations in; a group of friends sit together and anti-socially are all on their phones, yet socially are on their phones because of the social reach technology has. This conundrum makes me uncomfortable.
  • The feeling of betrayal 20 minutes after you eat Taco Bell.
